As per the information available, the truck was owned by Nav Bharat Transport and was transporting soap and other items while heading towards Jalandhar when the accident occurred.
According to reports, three individuals sustained serious injuries in the incident and were transported to a local hospital where they are presently undergoing treatment, while the driver of a Bolero claimed he was able to maneuver his vehicle to safety during the crash and did not experience any harm.
Sarabjit, one of the injured, stated that he had halted his vehicle and was preparing to turn towards a nearby petrol station. He mentioned that his car’s high-beam flasher was activated when the truck approached from behind and collided with his vehicle. The impact caused both the truck and the car to overturn, with the truck also mounting the road divider.
Individuals at the location alerted the police regarding the accident, prompting police teams to arrive at the scene and initiate an investigation. Officials indicated that the accounts of those involved are being documented, and additional measures will be taken depending on the results.
