Three DIY Serums for Three different Skin Purposes
Serum 1: Vitamin C Serum
This is an easy to use face serum specifically for the skin brightening purpose. Whenever we step out in heat or in direct exposure to sun, it is not uncommon to suffer from skin dullness. When we use this serum, it boosts up cellular health and helps with skin brightening. It neutralise the free radicals which brightens the skin up.
The key to this serum is:
- Take one tablespoon of fresh extracted aloe vera gel
- Whisk the gel a little and add in one teaspoon of lemon juice
- Now after mixing both these ingredients, add a few drops of rose water ,mix and transfer to a spray bottle.
Spray this on your face every night after cleansing for the noticeable results.
Serum 2: Collagen Boosting Serum
Collagen is a substance that helps with skin tightening and our body does not produce it in much quantity , to help boost collagen, here is a two ingredient DIY serum:
- In a bowl, soak three tablespoons of flax seeds.
- Strain the gel after some time.
- In the flax seed gel, add Vitamin E capsule or almond oil (substitute for capsule)
- Transfer in a glass bottle.
Apply gently on the face every night after cleansing, flax seed is a natural and plant based source of omega 3 whereas vitamin E helps with elasticity. After the regular use of serum the noticeable results will be increased elasticity and a bouncier skin.
Serum 3: Anti Ageing Serum
There are multiple available anti ageing products available in the market, but most of them are harsh and can irritate the skin. Here is the quick guide to anti ageing DIY serum:
- In a glass bowl, take jojoba oil ( 3 tbsp)
- Add in one tbsp of Ashwagandha powder.
- Mix them well
- Transfer the well combined liquid to a glass bottle
Apply it on skin every night after cleansing, in the morning rub it off and don’t directly wash the face, let the skin absorb the best ingredients , these both ingredients help manage puffiness, inflammation, restore glow and soften the lines on the face.
