Skin Repair Treatment at Home for Winters

Following are the home remedies to prevent  itchy, dry and irritated skin. The following products help restore and moisturize the skin. 

Hibiscus and Rose Water Body Mist

Body Mists are the quick remedies for dehydrated skin types. Spraying just water can make it even drier. So here is the body mist that is a must to prepare for the winters.

How to Prepare:

  • For this body mist:
  • Take five hibiscus flower in a pan 
  • Add in one full glass of water 
  • Boil together
  • After boiling, let the water cool down 
  • Strain the water in a spray bottle
  • Add two tablespoons of rose water. 

Carry this mist everywhere and spray it after every three hours. 

Tulsi and Honey Body Paste

Tulsi and honey are two best ingredients to be used in winters as. Tulsi is rich in natural oils which helps skin to get moisturized well and honey has anti-inflammatory properties and helps deal with dryness. 

For this Paste:

  • Take a bunch of tulsi leaves and add in grinder
  • Grind the leaves together until it forms a paste like structure
  • Take out the paste in a glass bowl and add in a tablespoon of honey 
  • Apply all over the skin for 15 minutes and then wash off. This can be used everyday for super smooth and healthy skin. 

Malai Masoor Face Pack

It is a major and unforgettable step to moisturize the face everyday well because the face is more sensitive than the other skin. Both ingredients the masoor dal and malai are super efficient for skin.

Guide to Face Pack:

  • In a bowl, take 6 tablespoons of malai
  • Now add in grinded one tablespoon of masoor dal
  • Apply a generous layer on your face and wash it after 15 minutes. 
  • This face pack acts as a natural moisturizer and exfoliator. 

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is a very good moisturizer for both dry and combination skin types. It helps the skin to retain water and prevent skin dryness. 

How to Use:

  • Avoid long showers in winters. 
  • Avoid hot showers
  • Avoid cold water
  • Use lukewarm water for showers and don’t over bathe. 
  • Straight up after showering use jojoba oil all over the body.

Long showers and cold or hot showers strip off the natural oils of the body whereas jojoba oil is best known for maintaining natural oil of the body.
