‘Insta Queen’ Amandeep Kaur Skips Court Appearance Days After Securing Bail

Amandeep Kaur, was arrested on April 4 after 17.7 grams of heroin was found in her car during a joint operation by Bathinda Police and the ANTF.

Dismissed police officer Amandeep Kaur, referred to as ‘Insta Queen’ and ‘Thar Wali Constable’, who secured regular bail from the High Court on Monday regarding a disproportionate assets case, failed to show up in the court of the Additional District and Sessions Judge here on Thursday.

“The court had excused Amandeep from attending in person due to health reasons.” “Currently, the matter is scheduled for the examination of the charge on December 2,” stated Advocate Vishavdeep Singh, the lawyer for the accused.

Previously, the court provided the Vigilance Bureau with a final opportunity to submit the supplementary challan prior to the hearing on November 20. “The probe agency has submitted the final challan,” stated Advocate Vishavdeep.

Amandeep Kaur, was arrested on April 4 after 17.7 grams of heroin was found in her car during a joint operation by Bathinda Police and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF). 

Following her arrest, Kaur was dismissed from service by Mansa SSP Bhagirath Singh Meena in line with strict directives from the Punjab government for officers involved in drug-related offences.
