Krishan Dev (KD) Bhandari, former MLA of Jalandhar North zone has organised a special event in Jalandhar on Wednesday to honour Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary.
The event is organised at BJP Leader KD Bhandari’s office at Doaba Chowk, now known as Baba Harvallabh Chowk.
The programme is being attended by party workers and local leaders. Floral Tributes have been offered to Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s photo, remembering his role in strengthening democracy, national unity, and development in India.
Notably, Vijay Sampla, a prominent Indian Politician who has served as the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment from 2014 to 2019 attended the event.
During the event, KD Bhandari listed the achievements of the BJP in recent years, highlighting the party’s efforts in economic growth, infrastructure development, and governance reforms.
He claimed that India’s economy has now reached the fourth position globally and urged people to support the party in the upcoming elections in 2027 for continued progress and change.
Remembering Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a prominent Indian personality who served three times as the Prime Minister of India. He was the first non-Congress leader to complete a full five year term in office.
He was a co-founder of the Bharatiya Janata Party and played a major role in shaping modern Indian politics. He served in Parliament for over four decades, elected to the Lok Sabha nine times and the Rajya Sabha twice.
