In a major development in the Kamal Kaur Bhabhi murder case, the prime accused, Amritpal Singh Mehron, has been detained in the United Arab Emirates, sources said.
According to preliminary information, Sharjah Police detained Mehron during an operation after his identity came to light during a visa-related interrogation. However, authorities from India and the UAE have not yet officially confirmed the detention.
Sources further revealed that legal formalities are currently underway, and Mehron is likely to be deported to India after the completion of the required procedures.
Amritpal Singh Mehron is the main accused in the murder of Kanchan Kumari, popularly known as Kamal Kaur Bhabhi, a well-known social media influencer. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
