One of India’s most wanted gangsters, Noni Rana, got caught in the United States. He is from Haryana and supposedly the younger brother of the infamous gangster Kala Rana. They caught him at the Niagara border trying to sneak into Canada. US authorities caught him before he got across.
Who is Noni Rana?
He is the younger brother of Kala Rana and lives in Yamunanagar, Haryana. He is connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and flee the country using a bogus passport.
Even from abroad, he kept running the gang’s illegal stuff. Lately, some posts on social media, supposedly from Noni Rana, took credit for crimes the Lawrence Bishnoi gang did in Haryana. Now that he is in custody, Haryana Police are talking to central agencies and US officials to get him back to India ASAP.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) made a big arrest, too. Anmol Bishnoi, brother and right-hand man of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is already in jail, got deported from the US and arrested in India on Wednesday.
The NIA says Anmol is the 19th person arrested for being involved in Lawrence’s terror group. He had been on the run since 2022. All this means that catching another of Lawrence Bishnoi’s close aides in the US is a major problem for the gang.
