Investigators said Singh founded the “Punjabi Devils” Motorcycle Club, described as an outlaw gang based in Stockton with alleged links to the Hells Angels.

The police arrested Harjot Singh (21), Taranveer Singh (19), and Dayaljeet Singh Billing (21) on February 1in Surrey, Canada in connection with an extortion-linked shooting. The trio is accused of firing shots at a residence or business, Surrey Police said.
All three have been charged under the Canadian Criminal Code with discharging a firearm. Police confirmed that the accused are foreign nationals and that the Canada Border Services Agency has been informed about their immigration status. They have been remanded in custody and will appear in court next on February 5.
Meanwhile, in the United States, 27-year-old Jashanpreet Singh of Lodi, California, pleaded guilty on February 2 to illegal firearms dealing and possession of a machine gun, according to the FBI Sacramento.
Investigators said Singh founded the “Punjabi Devils” Motorcycle Club, described as an outlaw gang based in Stockton with alleged links to the Hells Angels. The case revealed that on June 6, 2025, Singh attempted to sell a large cache of weapons to an undercover officer, including assault weapons, machine gun conversion devices, and a short-barrelled rifle.
A subsequent search of his home led to the recovery of a machine gun, silencer, hand grenade, and an electronic claymore mine.
Singh was initially facing state charges in California but failed to appear in court in July 2025. Authorities later arrested him at San Francisco International Airport while he was attempting to board a flight to India.
He remains in federal custody and is scheduled for sentencing on May 11, 2026. Singh faces up to 15 years in prison and fines that could total $500,000.
The prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America, a U.S. Department of Justice initiative aimed at combating transnational criminal organisations and violent crime linked to illegal firearms.
