A shocking breakthrough has come ahead from Ludhiana where a 11 class student lost her life after speeding truck hit the scooter she was riding near Mata Rani Chowk.
The truck driver reportedly fled the spot after the accident.
The deceased has been identified as 17 year old Rashmi who was a resident of Masia village in Nalanda district of Bihar. Her father, Mithilesh, works in Ludhiana, she reportedly had come to visit him for Holi celebrations.
As per the reports, when the accident occurred, the victim was riding the scooter with her father to the railway station to catch a train back to Bihar.
While Mithilesh (deceased Anchal’s father) was asked about the incident, he added that it was around 7:30 am, when they reached Mata Rani Chowk, a speeding truck hit the scooter from behind, seriously injuring his daughter.
An e-rickshaw driver who was present at the spot tried to take the injured student to a hospital, but she died on the way.
