Members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the district unit’s officials today held a protest demonstration in response to the Trade Wing of the party’s call about the rise in commercial LPG refill prices by the BJP-led central government.

In the morning, Jaskaran Singh Bandesha, Amritsar Lok Sabha Incharge, Prabhbir Singh Brar, Urban District President Amritsar, Sheetal Juneja, president Trade Wing Majha Zone, Sukhbir Kaur, president Women’s Wing Majha Zone, Abhishek Bansal, Rural District President Trade Wing Amritsar, and Kamna Anand, district president Women’s Wing gathered outside the hall entrance.

Protesters argued against the Union Government, stating that the significant rise in prices will elevate costs for food, particularly for prepared meals. Since a large segment of the workforce relies on these meals, rising prices could cause many to cut back on what they consume. They mentioned that this would result in a drop in sales for vendors and food sellers.
