Reports indicate that the snatched gold chain weighs approx. 2 tolas. People around immediately rushed the spot, took injured woman to the civil hospital for treatment.
A robbery incident has come ahead from the Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar area of Jalandhar where the robbers attacked a woman with sharp weapons and robbed her gold chain.
As per the information received, the robbers snatched the gold chain from a woman’s neck and fled. The victim has been identified as Asha Rani. While the incident took place, Asha Rani was at her medical store named “Asha Medicos” which is located in Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar.
Following the incident, people around the clinic noted that the accused had been roaming around the clinic for some time. And shortly afterward, he entered the store and attacked woman with a chisel, fled with the one of his mates waiting outside the clinic on bike. A woman has sustained severe head injury.
