Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal stated that former MP Balwinder Singh Bhunder will serve as the “Super CM” if the party is victorious in 2027. At the Punjab Bachao rally, Sukhbir commended Bhunder for his steadfast loyalty in difficult times.
Badal stated that Bhunder backed SAD during the departure of several senior leaders.

Sukhbir assured that SAD will upgrade all 13,000 villages by constructing concrete roads and sewer systems, cleaning ponds, and creating ‘pucca’ homes for villagers lacking housing if they secure victory in the 2027 election. He cautioned about the Aam Aadmi Party’s supposed plan to sell off government assets, describing it as a tactic to attract voters by offering Rs 1,000 to women prior to the election.
