An incident occurred at a gym close to Constitution Chowk, where a woman claimed, suspect acted inappropriately with her within the gym area.
A sexual assault case has emerged from Jalandhar, Punjab, where an entrepreneur was detained following a woman’s complaint. The suspect has been recognized as Honey Randhawa, the proprietor of the renowned White Diamond Resort in the area.
As per police authorities, the event occurred at a fitness center close to Constitution Chowk, where the woman claimed that the suspect acted inappropriately with her within the gym area, and following her complaint, the police filed an FIR at the relevant police station.
Authorities verified that the suspect was apprehended shortly after the case was filed, with the police noting that it is a grave issue since it pertains to a crime against a female, and rigorous measures are being implemented.
According to preliminary details, the incident was recorded by CCTV cameras located within the gym, and the footage has now emerged and is currently being analyzed by the police as part of the investigation.
Sources indicated that the suspect reportedly confronted the woman at the gym and seized her from behind. The Station House Officer (SHO) stated that the victim’s identity will not be disclosed to safe guard her privacy in accordance with legal regulations, and the police have commenced a thorough investigation into the matter.
